I feel like a total idiot! What can I do?

Question

So I was talking to this guy for a while and it seemed like he had an interest in me so I kind of went along with it. I was just talking with him and he said "I hope I am not giving you the wrong impression but I don't have an interest in you... you are a sweetheart though." I said no I just think you are cool to hang with but I feel so stupid now... I feel like I want to cry! What do I do?

Why would you feel stupid?. He doesn't like you or feel the same so just move on. I'm proud of you for taking the chance atleast.
