    Because Eskimos live at the North Pole. Penguins live at the South Pole!!

    Because Eskimos live around the Arctic, but Penguins exist only in the Southern Hemisphere, predominately, but not only, at the Antarctic.

    They don't do anything if you call them Eskimos. They huddle in a corner and sulk. We Canadians are supposed to call them Innuit or face 20 years in prison for Political Incorrectness.
