I'm Considering Joining CURVES-Any Advice?
I am 5'3" and 200 pounds. Yuck. I am getting married in 6 months and would like to tone up and lose some weight. I'm not looking to loose 80 pounds or anything extravagant, I would like to lose like 30-40 but also tone up some. I have a CURVES about 2 miles from here. Has anyone gone there that was in the same physical shape as me? Any advice on it?

There are plenty of heavy women at Curves. You can use the machines at any level of fitness because they are hydraulic. So the harder you push, the harder they push back. But you can start out at an easier level and work your way up. No need to be embarrassed. I was a Curves trainer for 2 years, and we had women 300 pounds who lost weight. Ask for a free week (they are almost always available). Then you can decide if you want to join.

Ive never been to a curves because theres not one where I live, but Ive heard theyre excellent. They have programs that they make for lots of different women with different body shapes and goals. Id say go for it!Source(s): For celeb diets/fitness tips head to: http://www.celebrity-diets.org/ Or, to talk online with other dieters: http://www.celebrity-diets.org/forum/
