do you think braces will fix this?

Question

I went to my Orth and he said that I'll be getting on spacers, an expander, and then braces. See I have pretty straight teeth. My problem Is I have a crossbite. My top Is too narrow so that's why I need the expander. But he said the braces might work or not. If they don't I could need jaw surgery. See my teeth sit exactly on top of each other not back or not In front. I just need a little tiny bit more and my teeth will at least get a little of an overbite and look better. What do you think? Cause It would really suck If I got braces and all that and they didn't work. I'm so nervous they won't:(
