Although this game may run casual games (The sims 3, Maplestory, Warcraft 3, Spore), it cannot run advanced games such as Crysis, Call of Duty 4, UT3, Flight Simulator x, Farcry 2, Doom 3, or Fallout 3. No, this laptop is not good for advanced gaming. It comes with an intel GMA graphics card, which cannot run most modern games comfortably.
If you get a laptop for gaming, make sure that the graphics are at least Nvidia Geforce, or ATI Radeon branded graphics.

Personally, for gaming, I wouldn't go with a laptop. I love to play games on the go, but I can't play any recent (past three months) games because my laptop is only eight months old and doesn't meet some of the specs. Stick with a desktop because you can change parts easily and anytime you want to. Laptop parts are harder and more expensive to upgrade. But if you gotta go with a laptop get an hp. Sony used to be great but I've been getting some not so great vibes from their users.

the graphics card is lacking... but that's compared to newer models i suppose so yea you'll be able to play a good amount of games, just not intense ones
