Who wrote the heath care bills, specifically HR 3200?
I have been looking online for a while now on who actually wrote these bills. I cannot find it anywhere. It obviously wasn't our Representatives and Senators, as they have no clue what's in them.

Special Interest lawyers....
No one really knows...well, except Pelosi, Reid and Obama of course...
Probably lobbyists and special interest groups... throw in Pelosi and Reid.
Your guess is as good as anyone's :)

As with all our laws Bill HR 3200 had many contributors including 160 amendments by republicans. It has not been passed so is still under revision. Once passed it will have to go through conference where there will be many more revisions/compromises. If anything gets passed out of that it will go to the Executive for signing, Veto, or Pocket Veto.
As it is HR....3200 it WAS written in the House of Representatives by those very same folks. No Senator, President, Cabinet Member or anyone else can write a House Bill although there can be influence - hence lobbyists. Not likely an individual will get that kind of access although not impossible. Lobbyists not only buy a seat at the table but also the table and the room it is in.
Note: Lobbyists are not mentioned in our Constitution or Bill of Rights for having a voice.

The bills were being worked in committee before August Recess.
The committees will now reconcile their modifications once Congress resumes Sept 8.
The bills have not even reached the floor of the House or Senate yet.
You can check this online - the actions of Congress is posted.
It is ridiculous that so many people do not know that Congress is out of session and visiting their home districts to hold Town hall meetings for input.Source(s): Senate Committee on Health Education Labor & Pensions: http://help.senate.gov/Maj_press/2009_07_15_b.pdf House of Representatives Ways & Means Committee: http://waysandmeans.house.gov/media/pdf/111/sbys32... Smartern... you will think of human beings would learn after the Bush incorrect information on the subject of the wars...and yet you all in basic terms blindly follow what a president says. each and each president lied..Clinton lied approximately watergate and the affair, Bush lied on the subject of the conflict, and another president has lied. What makes any of you liberal sheep have self assurance that THIS president is ANY distinctive? he's lied considering that earlier he replaced into elected president, and you all are too stupid to learn from the previous.

A large group of doctors appeared at the top of the bill at one time. I doubt they were responsible for the copious amounts of legalese. The language was probably a lawyer's responsibility. Later forms of the bill I have seen online don't mention those names.

Lobbyist attorneys work with Committee members and compose the jargon, and in this case, mostly Democrats are at the table.

Elites wrote the bill, how simple can it be for you. Everyone should know if they don't that congress are puppets, and the elites control EVERYTHING.
