why is the quran so different?

english version sura 33:50 '' o'' you who believe,we made lawful for you your wives to whom you have paid due dowry, or what you already have, as granted to you by god. real arabic quran sura 33:50 ''o'' prophet! we have made lawful to thee thy wives to whom thou hast paid their dowers; and those whom thy right hand possesses out of the prisoners of war, whom allah has assigned to thee; why do i feel like the translator is trying to hide something? and is this wrong?

miss; look it up before you say im wrong. ''o'' never look it up always make rude remards and make it up. why are so many like you?

Update 2:

di; google sura 33:50. then gey someone you trust and have them read what the real quran says. the western quran is nothing like the real one.

lol they are both in english, and why didn't u mention what translation u are using?

►O Prophet (Muhammad )! Verily. We have made lawful to you your wives. to whom you have paid their Mahr (bridal money given by the husband to his wife at the time of marriage)and those (captives or slaves) whom your right hand possesses - whom Allâh has given to you. ......... [Hilali]

►O Prophet! Lo! We have made lawful unto thee thy wives unto whom thou hast paid their dowries and those whom thy right hand possesseth of those whom Allah hath given thee as spoils of war. ........[Pickthal]

etc.... all the translation say the same thing except the one that is with u lol, nothing to hide, and the 1st one that u are using is an unreliable translation cz they forgot to mention the prophet

Lately you have been trying to sell us the idea as if there are two version of the Quran, the Arabic version and the Western version. It is amusing given the fact that the first two English translations were by non Muslims, both Sale and Dawood were Jews and Rodwell a Christen priest.

With the exception of few like Hilali/Khan which are sect specific, the later efforts including Asad's who incidentally was a convert from Judaism have a completely different flavor than that of Sale and Dawood. The new translations of Dr. Laleh Bakhtiar, a first by a women is still under scrutiny but promising, Abdel Haleem's and Tarif Khalidi's work are not Western Qurans, they are a more accurate translations of the Arabic Quran.

There is only one Quran and it can be translated accurately into any language as long as the translator (s) knows both well :)

    Diament called your bluff.

The Western Qur'an is nothing like the real one?? lol we have the English translation and the real Arabic Qur'an, the first thing we are told is the English Qur'an is not 100% authentic as it is a translation that tries its best to do justice to the real Arabic one.

Why would someone show so little shame of ignorance that they display it for the world to see?

It is not rude it is true.

I could pull apart your claims in a matter of senstences but you will never listen so why try??

Dont even have the gaul to call us rude when you come here with nothing but your venom :)

Source(s): You should cover your awrah! In this case, your ignorance is your awrah. If you are going to keep it, atleast hide it.
