The most recent was Andrew Jones - total bust who is still batting .220 but has like 18 HRs or so this year for Texas.

But Jason Schmidt was even worse - 3yrs/$39 million and he has only started like 10 games in 3 years and has been terrible in those games.

When the Yanks signed Carl Pavano to a 4 year 40 million dollar contract. We easily won over 400 games while he was there, but he watched 393 of those wins in a hospital bed. That's close to 6 million dollars a win, roughly what the nationals will be paying for wins this season.

    Wow....

    umm...

    Here goes:

    trading for Mike Jacobs

    trading for Coco Crisp

    signing Kyle Farnsworth (blah)

    signing Jose Guillen

    signing Ryan Freel (WTF?)

    trading for Josh Anderson

    trading for Yunieskey Betancourt

In fact... the only good move that the Royals have done over the last couple of years is sign Greinke to an extension....

White Sox trading for Nick Swisher. Gave away some important pieces and then had to sell low to the Yanks the next year.

Whoever said Rios, give him a chance. He's gonna be here for 5 more years, he has a ton of time to improve.

I would say the White Sox getting Alex Rios. Hes not doing good at all and i am pretty happy the days when he is not in the lineup. Not good. Maybe he will be good next season, but as of now i say he wasnt worth the money we took on and the fact that we have to bench Podsednik more often.
