Does anyone know where to find more information? Penalties?

My initial inquiry looking through the Washington statutes and reviewing the references below (hopefully up to date) show that there is no state-based social host liability outside of the dram shop (bars) laws.

Here are a few case references

    Reynolds v. Hicks, 951 P.2d 761

    (Wash. 1998)1274 Comment: This case

    concerned social host liability resulting

from injuries caused by a minor guest to a

third party. There is no social host

liability resulting from injuries suffered by

or caused by an adult guest to a third party.

    Burkhard v. Harrod, 755 P.2d 759

    (Wash. 1988).

Check the NTSA's cite for possible updates to its publications.

And beware, your local government may have passed an ordinance - see Connecticut's ordinances
