Hey Amber. First of all, please don't think I'm trying to push my opinions on you.. I'm really not, I just like to get a full idea of what exactly it is you're wanting to do. I had my first baby at 16... I grew up in a hard core Catholic family, and when they found out I was pregnant, you would've thought I had killed someone. So since you're young, I can COMPLETELY sympathize with you. Some things you really need to take into consideration, though, are the mental aspects of an abortion, the physical aspects, you need to talk to your boyfriend and see if he agrees with it because, don't forget, he helped you make this child.
An abortion can cause you to NEVER be able to conceive children again... so if you want children in the future... it's something to think about. Also, you do realize that by the time you'll be able to know whether or not your pregnant, your baby WILL have a heartbeat, as the heart starts beating at 18 days after conception.
I know you're afraid.. I was ABSOLUTELY TERRIFIED...probably the most scared I've been in my entire life....and it's hard, no doubt...but I know, that if you sit down with your parents... talk to them about this... I'm sure they'll understand... They love you unconditionally... and that means NO MATTER WHAT, they're ALWAYS going to love you. And if it turns out you ARE pregnant, they're going to love that baby just as much. These are just some things to think about... again, I'm REALLY not trying to push my opinions on you because I don't want to be "that person". But I just really want you to be able to make a very informed decision on this. You really need to research both options and take them both into consideration very deeply... I wish you that absolute BEST of luck. I really hope this helps you out. GOOD LUCK!!!!
