the birth control pill where you have 4 periods a month?

Hey does anyone know about the birth control pill where you only have four periods a year. What I am wondering is if you still get all the symptoms each month also.

I think that pill is called Seasonique. While I know some people on it, I honestly don't recommend skipping out on your period entirely that often. I don't know, the fact that your already modifying your system is artificial enough, in my opinion - but everyone's different (I'm on the pill too by the way, but not that kind). Just ask your doctor to make sure that it's right for you.

Seasonale is what its called I believe, They have some now where you don't get periods at all too. It has the same effects as all birth control.

    i've heard of that

appariently you still do end up bleeding well "spotting"

but somtimes can turn into a regular period.

Is that really that healthy though?
