Junking a Ford Explorer?
We have a 98 Ford Explorer that has been sitting in our driveway for months because the whole brake system is shot and it's not worth fixing. The car still runs (great actually) but it has really really high miles. We should just junk it right? How much could we get for it? We don't need to get much..but making something off of it would be nice.

See if you can find someone who picks up old cars for savage. I did that and I got more cash than I expected for my old van.
Put a ad on Craigslist list, it's free.
That is how I found the guy who picked mine up. It was gone 3 days after I posted the ad. Make sure you tell them, first to come with a tow truck gets it. Your not holding it for anyone.
The clunker plan was a good idea if you wanted a new car. Apparenty you did not.

Should of dumped it in the cash for clunkers program.
