What is the difference between matchmaking and lobby?
What exactly is a lobby and what is matchmaking? Which one is better?

Lobby - take Call of Duty for example. Before a match starts, there is all the people ready to play in the lobby. It lists all the people playing. You can see who you are playing with. It's where everyone enters before the match starts.
Matchmaking - this is when you search for a game. When you click on something such as Team Deathmatch and it searches for a game, you are matchmaking.
This isn't just for Call of Duty. It's exactly the same in any game. I just used Call of Duty for an example.
Therefore, there is no better one as they are copletely different things! ;)
