2) Robert Plant vs David Gilmour/Roger Waters/Syd Barrett. Robert Plant blows them all with his vocals. Compared to Plant, the rest of them have no feelings in their vocals; although i love the vocals in "Wish you were Here," one of the few songs that has good vocals with feelings.

3) Jimmy Page vs David Gilmour. I have great appreciation for Gilmour's guitar play, and he is one of the best guitarists out there; but according to statistics; Jimmy Page is right there with Hendrix, while Gilmour isnt there. Gilmour might be better than Page technically and Page doesnt have "clean sound' (which is preposterous), but he just doesnt have the raw energy that Page does. Depends what you like to hear from your guitar, but Page has inspired more guitarists than Gilmour does.

4) Both Bonham (drummer) and Richard Wright (pianist) were both instrumental in their own ways, so its not fair comparing them. Bonham did an epic job in Moby Dick, Wright did an epic job in "Us and Them".
