Actually it does say that Jesus is God's son, an before i show that part, I will use this as an example first....
When Jesus goes in the Garden to pray,he says Abba, which means Father, and he says "Father why have you forsaken me"...
another example, when jesus is actually on the cross,
He says "Father forgive them for they know not what they do" and "Father it is finished" when he died
another example, when they first capture Jesus, and the High Priest asks "Who are you" Jesus says "I am" which in the old testement when Moses asked who are you to the bush God said "I am that I am" so "I am" is God, and jesus said "I am" which he means he is God, and he constantly talks to God the Father in the Bible, as if one of us were to talk to our father....
now the one Example you have mis read here is the Nicene Creed, and I will put quotes and caps around the parts that says he is God's son and that states he is God....
I believe in one God, the Father Almighty, Maker of heaven and earth, and of all things visible and invisible.
And in "ONE LORD" Jesus Christ, "THE ONLY-BEGOTTEN SON OF GOD", begotten of the Father before all worlds; "GOD OF GOD, LIGHT of LIGHT", "VERY GOD of VERY GOD"; "BEGOTTEN, NOT MADE",
BEING OF ONE SUBSTANCE WITH THE FATHER",
"BY WHOM ALL THINGS WHERE MADE."
"WHO", for us men and for our salvation, "CAME DOWN FROM HEAVEN", and was "INCARNATE BY THE HOLY GHOST BORN OF THE VIRGIN MARY AND WAS MADE MAN"; and was crucified also for us under Pontius Pilate; He suffered and was buried; and the third day He rose again, according to the Scriptures; and ascended into heaven, and sits on the right hand of the Father; and He shall come again, with glory, to judge the quick and the dead; whose kingdom shall have no end.
(this next one paragraph talks about the Holy Ghost abviously besides yhe first 2 lines)
(i will do the same as above to show)
And I believe in the "HOLY GHOST", the Lord and Giver of Life; WHO proceeds from the Father and the SON (Jesus); WHO with the Father and the SON (Jesus) together is worshipped and glorified; who spake by the prophets.
And I believe in one holy catholic and apostolic Church. I acknowledge one baptism for the remission of sins; and I look for the resurrection of the dead, and the life of the world to come. Amen.
now lets say you were right and that, Jesus was not God's son, then there would be no such thing as christianity, the church would have never existed, and the biggest reason why christianity exists today is because of the resurrection, no normal man can pull that off, and if you realize only very Holy men have been known to raise people from the dead, but when that happened, they still carried there new bodies, Jesus had a new body,
and if you want proof of the resurection, go to Buddah's tomb, and then go to Jesus's tomb and tell me the difference, Jesus's tomb is empty....
oh and i know this isnt part of your question but, christianity is the ONLY religion that cannot be proven wrong, the Bible is sientifically accurate, not one thing in the bible has been proven wrong, and in reacont years they have found the location where the Garden of Eden was, but people have the right not to believe if they don't want to, people have the right to believe in anything they want,
Hope this Helps
