Goldman Sachs was a republican bank.
Lehman Bros. was a democrat bank.
Goldman Sachs was saved. Lehman was allowed to fail.
Look at the Career of Herbert Lehman. He was the Lt. Governor of New York under F.D.R. He became governor after FDR was elected president. Herbert Lehman, was a partner of Lehman Bank while serving as Governor of N.Y., during the great depression.
The real reason Lehman failed was because of Theodore Roosevelt's position at the bank and his close association with Al Gore.
