As you know, my two will be 12-13 months apart in age. I am assuming she probably wont understand. I try now to show her babies and try to get her excited about them, lol. But with her being as young as she is I really dont know that she will totally understand until he gets here. As of right now I don't think she notices that "mommy's pregnant". She rubs my belly a lot when we are laying on the couch and stuff. But honestly I think shes just doing it because the belly's in her way, lol. When I start feeling and seeing the large movements I plan on trying to get her involved with them... I doubt she will understand the idea... but we will just have to see. For now I just get her all excited everytime we see a little baby... either on the tv or in person. Hoping she will show the same excitement when her brother gets here. I think in the beginning it may be a little hard for her, not having all the attention... but I honestly think she will likeit. She is very observant, and I think having her baby brother around she will find very interesting. Not ot mention once he gets to the crawling & walking stage she will have a playmate... so I think it'll all work out.
