How are the dems feeling today after their shocking loss of a single payer government run health care system?

Fast forward a few months. Republicans have mobilized and actually started protesting in large numbers. Even without a figurehead leader, they came together to oppose Obama and the dems at every turn. Dems caved on health care, they're meeting tons of mad constituents, and they're worried about 2010. Add to the fact that they STILL have to pass cap and trade with a very vocal minority hounding them at every turn and they're in real trouble.

So, how does it feel to be a dem today? Is the air coming out of their balloon's? Are their cups almost out of Kool-Aid?
