What about Tangerine Dream? If you are willing to say that Krautrock is an umbrella with many sub-genres then they would be a strong candidate for psychedelic new age, would they not? ...or are they too rock?...

There are many new psychedelic rock bands out there, but I'm guessing by 'new age' you mean that sound that came out of the '80's underground scene? Try these:

I would recommend Natalie Portman's Shaved Head. They are definately a new age phycadelic band, they are like new wave with a groovey twist.They have an album called Glistening Pleasure, the songs I like best are:
