Do we really need the FCC (Federal Communications Commission)?
for things like cursing or purifying daily programming? Kids cuss and look at porn websites anyway. What problem is FCC solving in that arena? They take up too much government space and I want them done away with.
I am OK with them regulating the radiowave allocation. I just dont want to pay them to regulate content.

I have a thought for you:
The right of free speech - in its original understanding in America - also means the right to information.
All this "morality" censorship is a deversion from the fact that a few elite decide what we're "allowed" to know.

even if there was regulation like the FCC, it shouldn't be done on the federal level

specific, they're yet another ineffective government corporation. for occasion at one time you used to could desire to have a license to chat on the CB radio. a while around 1976-seventy seven they abolished the license because of the fact protecting song of them grow to be too frustrating. Any time the government abolishes regulations because of the fact implementing them is purely too frustrating, the government isn't doing its activity. the two it is not representing the persons or the regulation is ineffective. subsequently, it grow to be the two.

No, should be the programs right to censor, and with parents not allowing the kids to watch things they deem inappropriate. Its not the governments job to decide what we can and can't see or hear.

Obama needs them for his backdoor approach to the limitation of conservative talk radio and the limitation of free speech. They control the licensing of stations and will monitor the format to ensure it is in line with "community standards".

It is impossible to get rid of a federal bureaucracy once it has been established.
