Is Big Ben a phallic symbol for British people?

    As my learned colleague "Aye" points out, Big Ben is actually just the bell. The large towering, phallic thing, is Westminster Tower (or something like that). Its actually much smaller in real life than it looks on TV or in pictures. But if you turn around from Westminster, and look down the river, you can see Canada Tower....

    Or did you men Big Benjamin, who lives near me. He's famous round here, but "big" doesnt refer to his height.

    Big Ben is a bell, how can that be phallic? Oh, I see.

    For the English, sure.

    We Scots are so great, we don't need a big phallic symbol to prove our worth. ;].
