Does anyone know anything about the motherboard, sound card, or power supply? im a little shakey on those 3 if you could inform me on if they are good or not that would be great also feel free to critic it as much as you want i want the best quality computer i can get i am trying to get it closer to $1000 but i think this might be as close as i can get it
if you see any parts that could be upgraded or need upgraded cuz they suck please tell me thanks!

I suggest you not to buy the sound card. They are only needed for the professional musicians and usually are not required for home users.
The other stuff is great, it is worth buyingSource(s): http://www.askdrtech.com

Yes that is a really great deal! The power supply is a trusted name brand. As for the sound card it will do everything you need it too. If I could replace one thing though I would replace the ATI gpu with an nvidia GTX 285 in benchmarks it comes out ahead of that ATI a lot of the time.

Those parts should be fine. If you are looking to cut down on the price the sound card isn't really necessary as the motherboard has a descent 5.1 onboard sound and seeing how your getting 5.1 speakers it may be best to skip the sound card.

If you feel comfortable you can try to overclock cheaper CPU's and Graphics Cards to match your current. That can get you close to $1000
