Open Office Calc/Excel how to make a pie chart of my finances?

Seeing as I had no answers I am hoping more people will be online now. How do I enter all my receipts into Excel like "baby, $6.00, Wet Wipes" and then have a pie chart with each family member showing how much money was spent on each. Also, if someone has ever done this before, would you type the amount after coupons or before? If amount before coupons are used, where/how do you enter in savings with coupons?
