Who is currently the oldest British man alive?

Following the recent deaths of Henry Allingham and Harry Patch, there are no British men alive over the age of 110. I've found one fleeting reference to a Scottish man, Bob Taggart, at 109, being only the second oldest British man, but cannot discover who is older than him.

I found a website www.centenarians.co.uk, who might know. Email them at

    info@centenarians.co.uk

    At http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_living_superc...

there was a list of people worldwide aged 110 and over. There were seven women from UK, and one of them is the oldest person in Europe. I couldn't find a list of names age 100 - 110 in UK.

Seeing that they have only died in the last few weeks, I think you will find that you will have to wait until such time it can be established by the records kept and which have to be authenticated before they can say.
