Whats with all the NIKE comments?

Its getting on my nerves we dont want to read a 100 billion word essay on NIKE products its so annoying and a waste of space on the internet bandwith .stupid spam. The food aswell as the comments.

It is a bot doing it.

Someone wrote a script that makes a new account with a random name, then makes a question or answer holding the same text.

It is a spam bot just doing it to try and get hits on their website.

If 3 people report their questions or answers they are removed, if the user is reported several times he is inspected and then banned.

We probably won't be able to get rid of it. Bots are too fast. But no harm in trying ;)

Yes it is a classic example of bulletin board spam.

And yes I guess u can report it and get it deleted. But so far it's only increased. The reporting does nothing really. Some people have probably come up with a way to automate the insertion of spam.

They are annoying these spammers and we can only report them as soon as we see them. Some users just give them a thumbs down but this is no good as Yahoo are not aware of them, they need to be reported and then Yahoo can at least try to deal with them.

just report it as spam the more people report it the sooner it goes away
