Some of my mission items for final fantasy advance tactics have disappeared...?

Question

I heard a lot of people saying that you shouldn't throw away mission items because you will need them, but some of mine have gone missing (the ones that i noticed was a 'bomb shell' and some kind of pick axe) and I need the bomb shell for a mission. Can I get these back?

Sometimes missions reappear in the Pub. So if it does you can get it then.
