Why can I not get on the World of Warcraft forums?

Question

It says log in, and I try... using my correct username and password. In fact, to make sure it was right, I asked to get my password sent to me via e-mail. I still can't log in. It says my username and/or password is incorrect.

So, what can I do and wtf is wrong here?

Make sure you are on the correct forum.

If you have an European wow account, try the European forums at http://forums.wow-europe.com/index.html?sid=1

else you probably have a us account and you can try the forums at http://forums.worldofwarcraft.com/welcome.html

You can of course try logging in on both.

Another thing that might help is to use your user name and not your email address. The login asks for either one but only my user name seems to work...

maybe the server is down,every so often they'll shut down for a while to make adjustments.
