how do they test for ulcers?

I'm having a test for ulcers tomorrow and i'm not sure how they test it and i wanna know before i go in. anyone know?

A urea breath test will test for the activity of a bacteria known to cause ulcers. This test is simple but is less accurate than an endoscopy.

In an endoscopy, a tube attached to a camera is inserted through the mouth to the stomach to see if there are any ulcers present. This is the gold standard. Don't worry, you'll be asleep when this is done.
