Is Christopher Dawkins using the same formula with religious topics as Anne Couter does with political topics?

Is Christopher Dawkins using the same formula with topics of religion (for success as a high-paid speaker) as an Anne Coulter type using the same formula for topics of politics. That is, both say absolutely OUTRAGEOUS things that get people very upset and yet also resonate with some angry people who cheer them on. The more they make people angry, the more attention they get and the more money they make. (And, frankly, don't they BOTH say crazy things at times that even THEY don't really believe?)

So is Dawkins making a career from being outrageous about religious beliefs just as Coulter does with political beliefs?

Your sloppy error may be indicative.

And I don't even like *Richard* Dawkins' style much.

(Though separated from that his actual arguments have some weight. They are not outrageous at all.)

    Who is Christopher Dawkins?

BTW: the answer would be no for the simple reason that Dawkins doesn't lie. (Nor does Hitchens.) Coulter on the other hand wouldn't recognise the truth if it walked up to her and said hello.

No. And it's not Chris Dawkins, it's RICHARD Dawkins. Perhaps you're thinking of Christopher Hitchens. What Coulters does it espouse complete and utter falsehoods with appeal to emotion. Dawkins doesn't do that.

Come on-- even if you hate Dawkins he's an Oxford university professor who is actually very polite and soft spoken. Have you ever even listened to him? Coulter is a screeching escaped mental patient.

Who is Christopher Dawkins? If you mean Richard Dawkins then I don't see anything outrageous, just bald logic. And yes, he does want to shake things up, he's not prepared to just accept people holding illogical beliefs that affect us all.

Christopher Dawkins? A portmanteau of Hitchens and Dawkins, or just ignorance?

Dawkins is a one trick monkey and his religion is evolution. He is educated beyond his ability to understand and is incorrect.

Anne Coulter is a sweet charming lady who knows what she is talking about.

Wow, Dawkins is a very well spoken well reasoned man, the reason his statements are offensive has more to do with the audience hearing them than anything he proposes. I just don't understand how you could see a scientist taking a logical empirical approach to God as "outrageous."
