Is it possible to have an allergy to chlorine?

Since, my cousin has started swimming lessons he's started to get a dry scalp. (about 4 years ago.)

could he be allergic to the chlorine?

other suggestions other people in my family have said is really bad sunburn. he is also getting dry skin, peeling from his face.

could it be puberty?

any suggestions, before we hit the doctors.

    It is possible to have an allergy to chlorine but from what you're describing, it doesn't appear to be an allergy. Allergies manifest as rashes, or weals, and are itchy. Sometimes the allergic reaction can be more severe than that though.

    Go to the MD to be sure but again, it doesn't look like allergy.

    no it photo allergic poly morphic eruptions ,or may be a sun burn, or may be allergic better hit the doctor, or use a proper uv protection lotion with some anti histaminics like cetrizine

    One thing about nature is that humans could be allergic to ANYTHING. No, it is not puberty.
