Can you play games with people on the internet using xbox live?

My brother recently got The Orange Box (half-life, portal, TF2) for his xbox 360 and I was wondering if he and I could play together. Clearly I'm using the computer but some people would nearly invariably ask, "are you on a computer?"

Anyway can we play Team Fortress 2 together?

no, the version of orange box on the 360 does not support cross play. which means you cant play on your 360 with people using the pc or vise versa
