Fluid build up in my ear..?

I have fluid in my ear and my mom told me to lay on a heating pad and it would help. I was wondering how this would help my ear? And also, is there anymore home remedies that would help get the fluid out? Thanks.

The above is correct. You don't want to lay on the heating pad to long. you'll dry out your inner ear and give yourself an infection. I suggest you get some peroxide and pour it in your ear and wait 3 mins and then drain it out.

If the fluid is behind your eardrum you cant do anything at home for it, and a doctor will be needed. If left untreated you could get an ear infection and they are very painful.
