how to gain fat but keep muscle?

im trying out for a soccer team in late august, but im afraid i wont make it becuase of my size. i really need to gain some weight (mostly in my arms and legs) but i need to keep what muscle i have. does anyone know how to gain some quick weight in those areas but not loose muscle or get out of shape?

    Eat more if you added 3500 calories a week to your diet you would gain 1 pound of fat a week

    work out, like lifting weights and stuff, and at the same time, eat everything u can.. that way, ull gain fat, but also muscle

    well ofcourse you need to continue your workouts, but it would help to eat a high protien diet. You can also drink protien shakes which are high in calories.
