Please help me whith these geometry word problems people ?!?

1]Write an equation and solve the problem: the sum of m<1 and twice its complementt is 146 find m<1

2] the measures of two supplementary angles are in the ratio 2:3 find their measures

    1)

    let x = m<1

    x + 2(90-x) = 146

    x + 180 - 2x = 146

    180 - x = 146

    x = 34

    so m<1 = 34

    2)

    supplementary = add up to 180

    2x + 3x = 180

    5x = 180

    x =36

    one angle (2x) is 72 and the other angle (3x) is 108
