Do all insurance companies have a 15% deductible for earthquake?
In Los angeles,CA?
We are with travelers, they have a 15% deductible, was wondering if other insurance companies have a better number? (better for us that is)
thanks! & May god bless your life!

That might be normal for your area. I've seen it as low as 5%, but not in California.
It's always going to be a percentage . . but the only way to get a real answer, is asking your agent. Travelers agents also represent other companies . . . so ask them, do you have any companies that offer a lower earthquake deductible.

Yes. Most insurance companies will have the deductible in dollar amount which is $50,000/- or 5% of claim amount whichever is higher.Source(s): Underwriter

It may be, however plans vary on price and coverage, and the area. I have seen some at 0$, and others at 5%
