IF you take the SAT or ACT earlier than Junior year...?

and let's say you got a good score on it, do you have to take it again during Junior year? Do colleges ONLY look at your grade if you took it on Junior or Senior year? Thanks!

Thank you Princess! :)

the only reason they say take it your junior year is because thats when you are supposed to be at your "intellectual peak"

thats when you have taken all the classes you need to have taken to fully know whats covered on these tests.

colleges just look at you score. not when you take it.

if your score is good and your satisfied, ....keep it and dont retake it. but if you do want to do better than you should take it again your junior year (considering the fact that you will be somewhat smarter.)

Source(s): i took my act sophomore year, and did great, so, i sent it to the colleges.

11th grade you're taking the pre ACT or SAT counting on what college you will. faculties out of the state you reside in many times require the SAT. truthfully i think of all faculties now are requiring the SAT. In 12th you're taking the truthfully ACT or SAT.

You'll likely need to retake it again in your Junior year
