If pro and con are opposites, wouldn't the opposite of progress be congress?

am confused ...

    This is not an original joke, but no the opposite of progress is not congress.

    Whether or not legislation in the US is making progress is another issue to be discussed.

    You confused me too. Progress and Congress are way different than pros and cons.

    No To child Healthcare

    No to higher minimum wage

    No to tax credits for good vehicles and houses

    No to tax cuts for wealthy

    No to equal pay for equal work

    No to hispanic judges

    No to freedom of expression

    No to freedom of speech

    No to freedom of religion

    Yes to affairs

    Yes to prostitution

    Yes to hypocricy

    Yes to war

    Yes to isolationalizm

    Yes to quitting in office

    Yes to just saying no
