I'm thirteen. I love fantasy/horror books. Suggestions?

The Harry Potter series was great. The Stephen King collection is wonderful. Percy Jackson...it was okay... Any suggestions on what you think I might like?

    Clive Barker

    Peter Straub

    Thomas Tryon

VC Andrews (not my favorite but a lot of people like him.)

    HP Lovecraft

Oh, and if you liked The Stand, try Swan Song by Robert R McCammon. I haven't read any of his other books but Swan Song is great!

    In fantasy,

"The Bellgariad" and "The Mallorean," two series by David Eddings

The Chronicles of Thomas Covenant the Unbeliever by Stephen R Donaldson

Enders Game (I only liked the first one) by Orson Scott Card

The Handmaid's Tale by Margaret Atwood

"The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy" and "The Restaurant at the End of the Universe" by Douglas Adams (don't bother with the other ones.)

    Fantasy horror, right:

Garth Nix's The Ragwitch is good, proebly more fantasy than horror but some bits made my skin crawl.

Anthony Horowitz's Power of the five series is a definate mix of both of those, I'd probebly say this is the most well known series. Your best bet i'd say.

Though i don't see how you want to jump from Twilight to horror :D

For Fantasy Books, I think you should read J.R. Tolkein. His books are really excellent. Also, Johnathen Stroud is the author of the Bartemius Trilogy, which I loved and still love (I'm 16). I'm pretty sure you'd like them.

As for horror, my suggestion is to read Dean Koontz. He has written a LOT of books. You should start with Intensity or The Good Guy, or even Life Expectancy. His books are really good!
