Which of the following possesses the greatest concentration of hydroxide (OH-) ion?
a) a solution with a pH of 3.0
b) a 1 x 10^-4 M solution of HNO3
c) A solution with a pOH of 12.0
If you could provide a little explanation of why to help me understand it better would be much appreciated. Thanks!

pH = 3 => [H+]= 10^-3 and [OH-]= 10^-11 M
[H+]= 1 x 10^-4 and [OH-]= 10^-10 M
pH = 2 => [H+]=10^-2 and [OH-]= 10^-12 M
pH = 7 : [OH-]= 10^-7 M ===> your answer
