Decent Strategy PC game?

Are there any(prefferably histroical or very sciency) strategy games with a huge scale(map/ choises/ complexity/ customization) on the market at all?

    One of my favorites is the Total War series. There is Medieval total war, Rome total war, and Shogun. They incorporate maps and technology to Advance your society and then separate battle screens that give you total control over your armies on the battlefield.

    Another option may be city building games like Ceasar or Pharoah. Similar to the Sim series, but building in ancient times rather than modern society.

    i'm going to shoot you with some randoms, in elementary terms some video games i've got thoroughly enjoyed... Crysis a million & 2 Mass result a million to 3 Borderlands BioShock Farcry 2 Rage in any different case, you may desire to get into some issues slightly older. Like celeb Wars: Knights of the old Republic a million & 2, the Medal of Honor video games or the unique Farcry

    all of the "Total War Series"

    (rome, medieval 1, medieval 2, expansion packs for medieval 2, Empires)
