Acute lymphocytic leukaemia can be diagnosed in 16-18 but if it occurs in this age group cure is more possible.
Chemotherpay is a very specialist area and it is best to ask a doctor. However, from my knowledge I am aware that many drugs are used in combination and for ALL continued for 2-3 years.
As I mentioned earlier, prognosis is much better in children compared to adults with many (2/3rds) cured after treatment.
Hope that helps.
