"Adam's Song" by popular punks Blink 182

    "Hold On" by Good Charlotte.

    "Suicide Solution" by Ozzy Osbourne

    "R.I.P." by Bikini Kill

"Country Death Song" by the Violent Femmes (i.e. Blister in the Sun, for all those not in the know)

"Come out Fighting" by Pennywise. One of their members actually committed suicide.

"Next Life" or "Stay Together" by Suede

There are the heavy metal versions,

    "Nutshell" by Alice in Chains

"Fade to Black" by Metallica (it's one of those angsty, teenager songs)

"Suicidal Dreams" by Silverchair, pretty self explanatory.

"Suicide" by Soundgarden another straight up killer.

"Suicide Note Pt 1 and 2" by Pantera, sad and heavy.

    "Jeremy" by Pearl Jam

    "Eraser" by Nine Inch Nails

"Coma White" by Marilyn Manson. It's not about suicide, but if I were suicidal, I'd kill myself to it.

"You Know You're Right" by Kurt Cobain

    "Pain" by Jimmy Eat World

    "Numb" by Linkin Park

    "Last Resort" by Papa Roach

    "Red" by Chevelle

"Wait and Bleed" by Slipknot (very heavy)

    "Bother" by Seether

"Hey Man, Nice Shot" by Filter

    "Stan" by Eminem

"Hold Your Head Up High ( and Blow Your Brains Out)" by the Bloodhound Gang

"Whiskey Lullaby" by country stars Brad Paisley and Allison Krauss

"The Night Will Only Know" by Garth Brooks

"Sick Sad Little World" by Incubus

"Camera One" by Josh Joplin Group

    "Enigma" by Eric Bogle

"The Ocean Doesn't Want me Today" by Tom Waits

"Suicide Won't Satisfy" by Johnny Winter

"Easy Tonight" and "The Last Great American" by Five for Fighting

"Suicide Note" by Johnette Napolitano of Concrete Blonde.

    "Exercise One" by Joy Division.

    "Hurt" by Nine Inch Nails

    "Hurt" by Johnny Cash

"Gloomy Sunday". The song has been covered dozens of times over the years, most notably by such popular acts as Billie Holiday, Genesis, Sarah Brightman, Sinead O'Connor, Bjork, Ray Charles, Marianne Faithful, The Smithereens and even Ricky Nelson.

"A Most Peculiar Man" or "Richard Cory"* by Simon and Garfunkel

    "The Pass" by Rush

    "The End" by The Doors

"Alone Again (Naturally)" by Gilbert O'Sullivan

"Jump They Say" by David Bowie

    "Shivers" by Nick Cave

"Comfortably Numb" by Pink Floyd (not about suicide, but is often associated with it)

    "Vincent" by Don McLean

"Never Too Late" by Three Days Grace (I'd say more of an anti-suicide song than anything)

    "Pain" by Three Days Grace

"Suicide is Painless" by Marilyn Manson

    "Fix You" by Coldplay

    "Broken" by Lifehouse

"Broken" by Amy Lee and Seether (not about suicide, but it's very sad and I'm surprised no one's killed themselves listening to it, yet)

"A Time for Yohe" by Between The Trees (not about suicide, but personally I interpret it as such)

"How Do You Get That Lonely?" by Blaine Larson

    "Going Under" by Evanescence

"Bleed Like Me" by Garbage (this song talks about how everyone has problems. One of the people this song mentions ends up seeing a therapist because she tried taking her own life with a gun)

"Medication" by Garbage (not about suicide, but when I first heard it...I interpreted it as being a suicidal song)

"Homecoming Queen" by Hinder (this is a song about a girl, who originally was the school's home coming queen, who gets pressured into taking drugs. However it's easily interpreted as a suicide song)

"Behind These Hazel Eyes" by Kelly Clarkson

    "Beautiful Diaster" by Kelly Clarkson

"Because of You" by Kelly Clarkson (it's about abuse, but I figured this song is sad enough to be interpreted as someone who was abused and then commits suicide)

"Behind Blue Eyes" by Limp Bizkit

"Behind Blue Eyes" by The Who

"Shadow of the Day" by Linkin Park

"I'm Not Okay" by My Chemical Romance

"How You Remind Me" by Nickelback (personally I interpret this as a suicidal song)

"Kristy Are You Doing Okay?" by The Offspring (personally I interpret this as a suicidal song)

"Broken Home" by Papa Roach. (I interpret this as a suicidal song, sort of like the thoughts of a suicidal person before they become suicidal...though it's actually about a young boy who has an abusive father, and hates the fact that his parents are divorced)

    "Scars" by Papa Roach.

    "Lifeline" by Papa Roach

"To Be Loved" by Papa Roach

    "Last Resort" by Papa Roach

    "Hazard to Myself" by Pink

    "Like Suicide" by Seether

    "45" by Shinedown

"Save Me" by Shinedown (it's about drug use, but I interpret as a suicidal song)

"Welcome to My Life" by Simple Plan

"Bottom of a Bottle" by Smile Empty Soul

    Hope it helps!!!

  • A song called "Videotape" by Radiohead off of their latest album In Rainbows is most definitely about what is left behind after a suicide. It's pretty awesome. Love it

Last Resort by Papa Roach..it's on youtube if you wanna hear it

    Last Resort lyrics

    Cut my life into pieces

    This is my last resort

    Suffocation, no breathing

    Don't give a ****

If I cut my arm bleeding

    (This is my last resort)

    Cut my life into pieces

    I've reached my last resort

    Suffocation, no breathing

    Don't give a ****

If I cut my arm bleeding

    Do you even care

    If I die bleeding?

    Would it be wrong

    Would it be right

If I took my life tonight

    Chances are that I might

    Mutilation out of sight

    And I'm contemplating suicide

    Cause I'm losing my sight,

    Losing my mind,

Wish somebody would tell me I'm fine

    Losing my sight,

    Losing my mind,

Wish somebody would tell me I'm fine

    I never realized

    I was spread too thin

    Till it was too late

    And I was empty within

Hungry feeding on chaos and living in sin

Downward spiral, where do I begin

It all started when I lost my mother

    No love for myself

    And no love for another

Searching to find a love upon a higher level

Finding nothing but questions and devils

    Cause I'm losing my sight

    Losing my mind,

Wish somebody would tell me I'm fine

    Losing my sight,

    Losing my mind,

Wish somebody would tell me I'm fine

    Nothing's alright

    Nothing is fine

    I'm running and I'm crying

    I'm crying(x4)

(I can't go on living this way)

    Cut my life into pieces

    This is my last resort

    Suffocation, no breathing

    Don't give a ****

If I cut my arm bleeding

    Would it be wrong

    Would it be right?

If I took my life tonight

    Chances are that I might.

    Mutilation out of sight.

    And I'm contemplating suicide.

    Cause I'm losing my sight

    Losing my mind,

Wish somebody would tell me I'm fine

    Losing my sight

    Losing my mind

Wish somebody would tell me I'm fine

    Nothing's alright

    Nothing is fine (scream)

    (I'm running and I'm crying)

(I can't go on living this way)

    Can't go on

    Living this way

    Nothing's all...right!

"Seasons In The Sun" is a sad song. I'm not sure of all the words. Part of it says, "Goodbye me friend it's hard to die."

I think listening to sad songs would make me feel worse. I hope you are doing OK. Best Wishes.
