I can't answer that, because for that fraction, I don't know if the numerator is 5, (4+5), (2*4+5). Same with the denominator. However, if I assume that you mean:

2 x 4 + (5 / 2) - 3 x 4 + 3 = then follow the order of operations, PEMDAS. That stands for Parentheses, Exponents, Multiplication, Division, Addition Subtraction. Multiplication and division are done at the same time but from left to right, as are addition and subtraction. So first, you can't do anything with what is in parentheses, and there are no exponents, so start with multiplication and division:

(2*4) + (5/2) -(3*4) +3 =

8 + (5/2) -12 +3 Now, add or subtract from left to right:

(8 5/2) -9 convert to improper fractions with a denominator of 2:

21/2 - 18/2=3/2

So the answer is 3/2.

Graphing is nearly complicated on a text fabric interface, so i will pass that one. Graph the two lines and be certain the x and y co-ordinates of the component of intersection, if any. contained in the substitution technique, sparkling up for one variable in one equation and replace that expression into the different equation. sparkling up for each variable. contained in the addition technique (additionally familiar via fact the removal or subtraction technique), multiply all words in each equation so as that between the variables will upload to 0. Substitution: i will sparkling up for x contained in the 2d equation. x = 10 + 2y Sub into the 1st equation. 2(10 +2y) + 3y = 6 20 + 4y + 3y = 6 7y = 6 - 20 7y = -14 y = -2 Sub into the x = line above. x = 10 + 2y = 10 + 2(-2) = 10 - 4 = 6 So x =6 and y = -2 Addition technique: 2x+3y=6 Multiply by skill of two x-2y=10 Multiply by skill of three ----------------- 4x + 6y = 12 3x - 6y = 30 ------------------- upload those at the same time 7x + 0y = 40 two 7x = 40 two x = 6 %. between the unique equations, sub in and sparkling up. i pick the 2d sequation. 6 - 2y = 10 -2y = 10 - 6 -2y = 4 y = -2 So x =6 and y = -2, which luckily is a similar answer as formerly.

omg this is so easy this is how it goes:

2 x 4 + 5/2-3 x 4+3

8+2.5 -12+3

24.5

hope i helped!

Use PEMDAS.

P aranthesis

E xponent

M ultiplication

D ivision

A ddition

S ubtraction.

By usinthe order of operation we have:

8 + 2.5 - 12 + 3 = 10.5 - 9 = 1.5

2 x4 + 5 / 2-3 x 4 + 3

8 +5 /2 - 12 + 3

8+ 2.5 - 12 + 3

10.5 - 12 +3

1.5+3

4.5

I think.

one and a half

8 + 2&1/2 - 12 + 3

in traditional notation you resolve the multiplication and division first

ps. it's good to get a question in R&S with a definite answer

I'll do your homework if you do mine.

Use Lagrange multipliers to find maximum and minimum values of f subject to the given constraint, if such values exist.

f(x,y)=x^2+2y^2, x^2+y^2<=4

I'm surprised.

Somehow, this ended up in the R&S section without using the word "sin" (short for "sine").

How did you do it? Or are you just a troll?
