    1.5 is your final answer.

You have to multiply 2 and 4 first. Then divide 5 and 2 and finally, multiply 3 and 4. When you do that, you are left with 8+2.5-12+3. Then you can just go from there.

i can't answer that, via fact for that fraction, i do no longer understand if the numerator is 5, (4+5), (2*4+5). comparable with the denominator. even nonetheless, if i assume which you recommend: 2 x 4 + (5 / 2) - 3 x 4 + 3 = then stick to the order of operations, PEMDAS. That stands for Parentheses, Exponents, Multiplication, branch, Addition Subtraction. Multiplication and branch are achieved on a similar time yet from left to precise, as are addition and subtraction. So first, you are able to no longer do something with what's in parentheses, and there are not any exponents, so commence with multiplication and branch: (2*4) + (5/2) -(3*4) +3 = 8 + (5/2) -12 +3 Now, upload or subtract from left to precise: (8 5/2) -9 convert to unsuitable fractions with a denominator of two: 21/2 - 18/2=3/2 So the respond is 3/2.

As you do multiplication and division before plus and minus do 2 x 4 and 5/2 and 3 x4 separately writing them into the sum in order, then complete the sum.

    2 x 4 + 5 / 2 - 3 x 4 + 3 = PMDAS

    (2x4)+5 / 2(-3x4)+3

    8+5/ 2-12+3

    13/-7

this is presuming it is not 2x4 +(5/2) -3x4+3

    which would make it 8+(5/2)-9 =1 1/2
