the question is: is this normal on a jack russell terrier , and if not, how can i change it?

hey!
i have a jack russell terrier too, hes a rough coat, which means they have longer hair. broken coats have longer hair on their body and short hair on their face. this could be your case, he just might be a rough coated Jack russell. nothing wrong with that, there are three different types of coats for a jack russell, rough, broken and smooth.
As for the running things its maybe because he just doesnt feel like chasing them. is he active in general? if he doesnt seem sick then he is probably fine. but if he seems to sleep all day then take him to the vet.
so maybe he is just lazy! but let me know how it turns out and good luck =)
