Whoever wrote this is saying that the worst thing about love is that the love you will feel the most...the love that will be the deepest and most painful...is the love you feel when the person you love is not with you. When you can't satisfy the need for closeness and touch and communication that love brings with it. So...the tragedy of loving is...that you love nothing more than that thing/person...that you are missing. Absence makes the heart grow fonder.
