does a cheek piercing have to go all the way through?

i was wondering if you have to get your cheek pierced all the way through. if not will it fall out ?

For it to be a "proper" cheek piercing, yes it has to go all the way through. But, if you just wanted the look, a cheek surface piercing (or a microdermal) is always a possibility.

Well to pierce means literally to break through. So yes, a cheek piercing does go all the way through your skin, as does many other piercings. It would migrate way too easily if you only did it through a few layers (like an eyebrow).

Yes, it has to go all the way through. I guess maybe you could get cheek microdermals though. Those are just surface piercings.
