my friend say that manga can be animated but i say no thats anime. he says there is a animated manga art style. hes wrong right

I've seen something like a show actually taking place in the form of a comic book or manga but it's still called an anime, which is anything thats animated and moving..........................so your right!

Anime means animation (predictably) in japanese. Think about it. Manga and Anime have the same drawing style. Yes there are style variations, but these exist between manga and between anime as well. Naruto is an example of a manga turned into an anime, as is Bleach, Yu-Gi-Oh etc. Therefore you are correct.
