If you havent read the Vampire Chronicles by Anne Rice then you should try them. They don't focus near as much on romance, although the vampires do tend to fall in love with humans, both male and female, and turn them into vampires. There are much more mature themes in them, Lestat is constantly struggling to figure out what being a vampire means to who he is, and is very philosophical and existential, at the same time being cocky and amazing lol. There arent really vampire hunters in it but there is the Talamasca, which is a secret organization that deals with everythign supernatural and later on some witches, but i havent read that far yet. There arent veery many sex scenes, they vampires do get pleasure from sucking the blood of their vicitims though, s there is that eroticism, and when Lestat takes over a humans body theres a couple sex scenes, but thats not the main focus. They really are amazing books.

You definitely need to read the Vampire Academy Series by Richelle Mead. It involves the whole hunting vamps and all that stuff but still manages to put in some forbidden romance. THey are amazing books!

The ones by Fred Saberhagen are pretty good. There were several, but the only title I remember offhand is Thorn, which was one of the later ones in the series

**I found a list for you, looks like there are some newer ones that I missed

I can also suggest the "Blood" books and "Smoke" books by Tanya Huff
