What is the risk that I may have a virus from Gmod? Please help!!!!?

I was in Gmod and entered a game, then the screen closed out. I was then connected to this website that kept opening more and more. I immediatly turned off the computer, system restored, ran anti virus and spyware removal. They all found nothing. The system restore did save the Gmod files that got me into the trouble in the first place. What is the risk that my computer can become infected with it.

Ps.The game was on sandbox with four players.

I don't think you can get viruses from any steam games downloads, and if you had that problem from the game other players would also have the same problem because all players have to download all custom downloads onto their computer. Maybe you went on a bad website in the past. Did you torrent it? some torrents have viruses.

    You ask and I answer.

I seriously doubt it had to do with the gmod game. If you downloaded it from Steam at least. It might have been the server you were in if anything.

If the same problem happens again then there could be infection from this website.

well you can harm your computer to the max that it may never work just scan the download before and take more time to learn what it could contain[is it worth it?]
